Job Description

Job Summary
Managing and supporting the effective sale and distribution of personal loans in the assigned geography.
Execute in conjunction with product team local marketing activities for increasing the amount of leads.
Ensure good relationship is maintained at the branch level for conversion of the leads.
Excellent Selling and Persuasion skills with confidence to engage customers
Demonstrates customer focus by seeking out, understanding, and responding to the needs.
Establishes priorities that address the details and timelines needed to achieve the intended results
Ability to handle pressure and stress appropriately
Monitor instalment payments and collections of his/her customers
Enhancement of relationship with the existing customers by cross-selling Ujjivan’s products as per the profile & need of the customers
Responsibilities and Duties
Business
Follow up on the leads passed on to them from different channels to take it to closure
Tracking of leads till disbursement
Work closely with the Product team and ensure proper marketing and visibility for personal loans.
Good understanding of the product and processes, which should reflect in service provided to customers.
Enable timely resolution of queries and pass on information to customers as and when required
Customer
Provide superior service and best in class TAT and address any queries that may be raised by the customers for availing loans
Conduct the appraisal process of potential customers in a courteous manner without compromising quality
Guarantee confidential treatment of all the information gathered from customers
Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient and accurate services and establish professional relationship with them, with a long term perspective
Internal process
Minimize the errors that may arise during sourcing
Visit the customer’s office/ residential place as per the defined policy of the product to ascertain the level of credibility in customers
Ensure that there are no errors post sanctioning of the loan to the customer
Do a quick data entry in cases where the lead is generated in the field and ensure the decision is conveyed as per the norms to the customer
Coordinate with Liabilities team if applicable, to ensure bank accounts are opened/activated to disburse the loan amount and necessary standing instructions to repay monthly disbursements
In case of arrears, visits customers and guarantors for the loan recovery and coordinate with collections officer to update the status periodically
Learning & Performance
Showing the willingness to make use of all the training programs that they have been nominated and learn from them
Ensuring punctuality for reporting at the designated office
Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self
Ensure goal setting, mid-year review and performance appraisal processes are completed within specified timelines
